Coaching is provided by a range of veterinary students and vets. Our team has a diverse range of experience and are experienced in interviewing students. Our tutors are all interviewed, DBS checked and undergo training prior to teaching on any one-to-one session. If you have a preference, we will aim to find a tutor who has had an interview at your university or currently studies there.
Veterinary surgeons
We have a team of senior vets including the Director of Veterinary Education, Dr Georgina Kivneen who provide one-to-one sessions around their clinical and academic commitments. Our senior team has years of interview experience and have previously interviewed on university panels in some cases.
Veterinary students
Our team studies at universities across the UK including RVC, Liverpool and Edinburgh to name a few. Our tutors have often received multiple vet schools as an individual and are experienced in MMI and panel style interviews.
Absolutely! Whether you require a male or female Interview Tutor, a tutor with post-graduate or undergraduate training, we will try our best to meet your demands.
Each session varies, prior to a session, your tutor will contact you to establish what you’d like to focus on during the session. Our tutors will find out your ideas, concerns and expectations of the session. In a one-hour session, students can typically encounter 3-4 mock interview questions with detailed feedback provided orally and in writing.
This varies from student to student – the most common amount of sessions booked in 2021-22 was 2 hours. We recommend starting off with two hours, once you start having one-to-one sessions, you can easily increase the number of sessions by contacting the team at any time should you need more.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we will continue to provide our courses online. We find that it offers multiple advantages including keeping costs down and increasing the accessibility of vet tutors from all across the UK. But come on, you can take this course from the comfort of your home while wearing your favourite pyjamas.

Nothing – there’s nothing content wise that we cover in our private sessions that isn’t already covered in the one-day interview course.
- The only students that tend to find benefit in our private sessions are the ones who:
- Find it significantly harder to teach the content to themselves
- Are international students based in a different time zone, and would ordinarily struggle to attend a course
- Prefer a one-to-one setting compared to working in a group
- Prefer to focus on specific elements of interview preparation
- Are applying to allied professional related courses such as veterinary nursing
- Would like a re-fresher following our national course
What we always suggest is for students to attend our course, study the material in depth
themselves afterwards, and if they’re still struggling, then we’re happy to provide the
additional help.

Yes, if you are purchasing the National MMI course or the One-to-one Mini MMI course, you will be provided with digital access to the course/workbook as part of the package. A physical copy is available for a small supplement, please contact us.
