We offer an industry-first matching service where we aim to match you with a tutor who has done the exact same syllabus as the exam you are preparing for. We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, if you are not happy with your tutor, we will refund the first lesson and find you an alternative tutor.

Sarah is in Year 13 and wants help with A level Biology, her exam board is AQA and she is applying to medical school. MediTutor matches Sarah with a tutor who achieved an A* in AQA Biology and is now a medical student.

Would we introduce this tutor to mum? Yes. MediTutor is extremely protective about who we allow to join and work through our platform. Every tutor must complete a 2-step application process.

First a thorough written application – this includes adding details of their past teaching experiences, a CV and details of their suitability to tutor. Shortlisted tutors are invited for an interview – this includes asking tutors to teach us an A level/GCSE concept and personal questions. Our tutors are only Medical, Dental, Veterinary or Oxbridge students/graduates; we choose these fields because there is a certainty of subject expertise, academic attainment and respected references.

Yes, the majority of tutors do either from previous jobs in teaching or a mandatory requirement of their degree. All of our tutors who are dental and medical students have an Enhanced DBS check.

Both. However, our face-to-face lessons are limited to the Liverpool area for now, for students outside of the area we ask you to get in touch with us directly.

Online tutoring works well because of many reasons:

1. Flexibility – We understand that you are quite busy, and so we can easily work around your timetable and do evenings and weekends. We are more easily able to work around your schedule.
2. Recording – We can give you a video recording of each lesson, so that you can watch it back in your own time (optional).
3. Easy to use – 80% of our tutoring takes place online, and all our customers leave satisfied.

We recommend as early as possible in the academic year between November-January. Universities often only give 10-14 days notice for an interview, and preparing for the interview cannot be done overnight! This is why we recommend starting as early as possible. We have a variety of students who come to us. Some students come several months in advance, and some come 1 week in advance.

The prices for schools are substantially lower than they are for normal students, on top of this, schools can get VAT refunds, so you would effectively save a further 20% making our course very affordable.
